Speed of your Marauder??
Mines a K9 and maxes out at 50mph, I believe it is fitted with the german spec, they are limited to 80KPH
To be honest it's been a bit of a disapointment in the speed dept.
Regards
Bob

Re: Speed of your Marauder??
What a plonker I am
So after some thinking about the speed problem with my marauder I remembered that way back when I first had the bike, I changed the front sprocket from the original 15 tooth to a 17 toother...... I was still running in the bike when i changed the sprocket, so never got to use the original sprocket like you can now max revs all the way to 60mph.
So today I changed the front sprocket back to the original one and hey it maxs out at 60 but boy does it rev it's head off, the 17 toother doesn't allow enough revs for the engine to pull the bike to 60mph. I think the engine will bed in a bit more and loosen up so it won't rev so much.

I have a K4 2004 model, and I've had 62 out of it, will cruise at 50-55 all day. Pulls well form 40-50 too but then looses its guts a bit from there on in.

Re: Speed of your Marauder??
I think there all about the same, top speed of 60mph and lose it on the hills
It would be nice to get 70+ but hey it's a fairly reliable, comfortable baby cruiser
