well it was a very hot Saturday had a ride out steering felt a bit strange so stopped looked over the bike.
And the front oil seals had gone on the shocks.
So this Tuesday its going in to the local bike shop to be put right.
the shocks have always been a bit oily but i put that down to coating it in wd40 all the time.
fingers crossed its a easy job.

Sorry to hear that james, the bike shop will have to split the forks to put em right. It's a case of draining the fork oil, compress the inner bit to release and withdraw, change the seals and then reassemble with fresh fork oil and hey presto all good again. Very Happy

it was £74. I can do some things but i thought i would leave that to the
people that know.
Its so much better now it had been leaking for some time.
But as i coat everything in wd40 it was hard to tell.
hope all goes OK

Hi James

I thought that was very reasonable, especially if your not mechanically minded, I think most of that was the labour charge. Laughing
