New member - seeking sissy bar advice

Hi everyone!
Just recently bought my little marauder (and loving it)...but seeking to put a sissy bar and pannier racks on it to make commuting to work a little easier.
I'm struggling to find any for a 2012 model. Will the ones for 1998-2001 fit ok? I can't discern much difference in the appearance of the models....but there may be some more subtle differences that hinder compatibility.
Any thoughts?
