Exhaust Cable

hey guys, i wondered what the 2 cable lead going into the exhaust is for? i've checked in the manual and online but no one seems to know. i was interested in putting a slash cut exhaust on but just wondered what it is.

That 2 cable lead is the rear brake cable, The main lead operates the brake and the small one operates the brake light.

Hi Admin

i found the rear brake cable but thats behind the exhaust. im talking about the cable that literally goes into the exhaust pipe. it screws into the top of the exhaust just before the silencer

Oh Sorry, thats the exhaust gas oxygen sensor, this will need putting into the new exhaust when you get it, You will need a boss welding into the new exhaust. Available from ebay.

ah i see now! its only a slip on exhaust so won't need to mod any pipes
